Italian skiers dominated both the men’s and the women’s race at the 2006 American Birkie. The entire team raced on SOLDA Glide wax.
For the second year in a row Italian skiers dominated the American Birkie racing on SOLDA Speedmakers glide wax. Last year the Italians were top three spots in the men’s race and top two in the women’s race. This year they were 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6th in the men’s race and 1, 2, 3 in the women’s race!

The Italian wax choice was as simple as last year: SOLDA HPO5 Fluorocarbon over SOLDA Medium Fluor F15 Blue.
HPO5 and other SOLDA waxes like HPO5/S30 Mix, F40, PowerJet, F31 and Warm Fluor are frequently used on the World Cup.
