Norwegian Inge Braaten continues as Swedish head coach for four more years.

– It feels good to have a contract through the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, says Inge Braaten to Norwegian newspaper VG.
He wants Thomas Alsgaard and sprint coach Ola Rawald to continue on the coaching staff, but no contracts are signed at this point.
Braaten took over as head coach of the Swedish team in 2005. Sweden, which had not won an Olympic Gold medal in eighteen years, won three in 2006. The Swedes won both Team Sprints, and Bjorn Lind won the individual sprint.
