The Norwegian sprint team will for the first time do an indoor skicamp this season.

Sweden’s first ever ski tunnel will be opened up in Torsby in June. That makes it possible to ski year-round regardless of weather.

The Norwegian sprint team has decided to prepare for the October, Düsseldorf World Cup sprint race in Torsby.

– We will train in the tunnel for three days before we travel to Düsseldorf, says Norwegian sprint coach Ulf Morten Aune.

This changes what the sprint team has done in the past.

– We are going to Val Senales and altitude training little earlier and will go back to Norway one week before the races in Düsseldorf. We will do the last preparations in the skitunnel, says Aune.
