The Norwegian sprint team is for the fourth year in a row splitting their September camp between one week with skiing in Ramsau and one week with dryland training in Livigno.
– Two week of skiing is too long for us at this point. I believe it’s good for us to do a week of dryland training after one week with skiing in Ramsau. We believe in this plan, it works for us, says Norwegian sprint coach Ulf Morten Aune.

Traditional dryland training like rollerskiing, running and strength is now on the agenda at the camp that ends this week.

The sprint team has had some injuries and sickness.

Ola Vigen Hattestad got mono but is recovering.

Ola is doing better than we feared, but it’s often a long way back from this illness, says Aune.

Trond Iversen is struggling with an injuring but doing better now. Eldar Ronning had to take a three day break due to a small cold, but Trond Arne, Eldar and Johan have trained very well ensures Aune.

The Düsseldorf sprint World Cup opener is only a little more than a month away.
