Okay, not quite everywhere. But we did receive four different reports of snow in locations from West Yellowstone to Lake Placid. And lucky skiers in Bozeman and Crested Butte even had groomed tracks. Here's a wrap-up.

West Yellowstone, Montana:
Jamie Green reports that the white stuff has covered the ground in West Yellowstone, Montana. In a few weeks, Yellowstone will kick off the national ski season with the Yellowstone Ski Festival. www.yellowstoneskifestival.com

Lake Placid, New York report from Margaret Maher
Lake Placid and surrounding places in the Adirondacks were treated to 3-4 inches of wet snow Friday afternoon. It stuck around on Saturday for some early season skiing at Mt. Van Hoevenberg and up the Whiteface Toll Rd. It was a real treat to be out on skis before Halloween.

NYSEF athletes Sophie McClelland, Janey McClelland, NYSEF XC Head Coach Margaret Maher and SLU/NYSEF Alum athlete Matt McClelland enjoy the early skiing.
