Dartmouth Wins UNH Carnival

Led by first-place finishes in six of eight disciplines and a team-high score in each of those six events, the Dartmouth College ski team captured first place with 784 points in the University of New Hampshire Winter Carnival that was held Jan. 26-27. The Nordic events were held at Jackson XC while Attitash was the alpine venue.

Dartmouth was followed by the University of Vermont (701 points), Middlebury College (668) and University of New Hampshire (608).

Dartmouth was particularly successful in the nordic events. At the Jackson cross-country ski area, the Big Green swept the competition, winning all four events.
