Giese (Subaru Factory Team) won his 6th straight Vasaloppet in his hometown of Mora, Minnesota on Sunday, just barely edging out Adam Swank and Matt Weier by fractions of a second.
In the women's race. Sarah Max earned a 13 second win over Martina Stursova (Rossignol), while Diane Tremblay (Atomic) was third.
