1st rank – Lars BERGER ( NOR )
“I was very lucky with the weather conditions. The first seven and a half kilometers were super fast and the last bit was super hard — the snow felt like glue. I took advantage of the conditions on the first lap. It was a special race. The moral winner today is (Tobias) AGERER.”

2nd rank – Leanid KARNEYENKA ( BLR )
“I didn’t estimate this success today. After the race I was watching the screen and I realized I was second. My main aim was the Junior World Championships in March, but the coach brought me here for the relay team because we only have 3 athletes that can compete at this level. I was chosen because I won the Belarus championship.”

3rd rank – Tobias ANGERER ( GER )
“I can’t describe this race because when I was standing at the start there was such big snow. Usually you have no chance in the top 30 positions. I was in really good shape today; I think it was a perfect race. In the end I’m very happy with the medal but on the other side I’m very sad because normally it was a perfect race. Lars (BERGER) and the guy in second place were the best skiers today, so they won the race.”
