Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center is a year-round training center committed to creating and supporting elite athletes at the National and International level. The program is currently accepting applications from dedicated athletes for the upcoming 2007/2008 ski season. We have three levels of membership and are recruiting for all levels:

Elite Team: Skiers who have shown success at the national level and have goals of international/world cup success.

Development Team: Skiers who have shown regional and (some) national success who wish to improve their national ranking and aspire to be elite skiers.

*APU also has an “Early Honors” program which invites high school juniors to finish their last year of school at the University earning high school and college credit simultaneously.

Training Team: Student/athletes who enjoy the sport of cross country skiing and wish to improve their skills as skiers while living in a vibrant Nordic community.

Athletes at any of the three levels are highly encouraged (but not required) to be students at Alaska Pacific University. APU is a fully accredited 4-year University which also has some graduate degrees. Check out the school at: http://www.alaskapacific.edu/
