The 30th annual Sibley Ski Tour was held under ideal conditions on a sunny Saturday, March 3rd. The race had to be held at the Kamview Nordic Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario because of lack of sufficient snow on the nearby Sibley peninsula. There were 539 participants in spite of the change in location and snow storms that restricted travel in the days prior to the race. Participants in The Sibley Ski Tour can chose between 10, 20 and 50 km distances. The men's 50 km race was won by Canadian National Team member Chris Jeffries. The Women's race was won by former National Team member Milaine Theriault.
