Laura Valaas off to Alaska, joins APUNSC

This past season's SuperTour Sprint Champion Laura Valaas has recently announced that Anchorage, Alaska will be her new home. Valaas, of Wenachee, Washington, plans to join Kikkan Randall, Taz Manniz and the rest of the APUNSC team for the 2007/2008 season.

APUNSC will now have the top three ranked elite women nordic races in the country.

Laura experienced a very successful season including the overall SuperTour Sprint Title, 2nd place in the sprint at US Nationals, 1st place in the team sprint at Nationals, and an unprecented 2nd place in the sprint at U23 championships.
