On June 18, 2007, Dartmouth's NCAA-champion ski team took part in the annual “Champions' Day” celebration hosted at the White House by President George W. Bush. The Big Green was one of nearly 30 championship teams from the past academic year taking part in the event.

The 12 competitors from this year's NCAA championship team, along with their coaches, support staff and administrators, spent the afternoon touring the White House and posing for photographs with the President, who received a ski team jacket and belt buckle from the team members.

The 2007 Dartmouth Ski Team is the College's first NCAA team champion in 31 years, dating back to 1976.
