The University of Vermont, a Division I cross country ski team competing in the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association is seeking an assistant Nordic ski coach for the coming year. The position begins August 27 and carries through the academic year to early May. A bachelor's degree and college coaching or racing experience is preferred. Duties include assisting in the day to day operation of the ski team, training, recruiting, and some department administrative responsibilities. Much of our training and racing during the fall and winter seasons fall on weekends. This position requires a lot of driving to and from training and race sites throughout the year so a valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Salary will range between $20,000 and $26,000 depending on experience and includes a cell phone during the academic year.
