XC Oregon skiers dominate in mountain run

Brayton Osgood, ranked 15th nationally in cross-country won the challenging 13.3 mile run in a time of 1:57:14, 42 seconds ahead of Ashland's Hal Koerner, one of the top ultra marathoners in the country. Fellow XC Oregon member, Zach Violett took third, with coach JD Downing a strong 9th and cross-country sprint specialist Colin Mahood in 13th.

In the women's race, Evelyn Dong, ranked 14th nationally, took the title with a time of 2:17, good for 17th overall. Teammate Sarah Max joined her on the podium in third place.
