Join US Ski Team coaches Pete Vordenberg and Matt Whitcomb at US Nationals on Jan 4th, in Houghton, Michigan for an on-snow technique workshop.
This workshop is open to all Nordic coaches and will focus on the aspects of classic and skate technique. USST coaches will discuss theory, points they feel are pertinent when teaching, and will demonstrate drills for:
– Striding
– Double Pole
– Kick Double Pole
– V1
– V2
– V2 Alternate
Q & A session will follow. The workshop will run approximately 2 hours and will take place at the Michigan Tech Ski Trails. Meet in front of the Wax building, trail side at 12:30 pm. There is no charge for this workshop. Donations will be accepted and proceeds will go to the US Ski Team and NENSA Athlete Development Fund's. Sign up is requested- Workshop will be capped at 20 participants.
