Morgan Arritola of the US Ski Team won the women's 15km freestyle event at Soldier Hollow. Arritola edged USST teammates Tazlina Mannix (APUNSC) and Laura Valaas (APUNSC) by 4 and 7.9 seconds respectively. Arritola's previous best finish this season on the SuperTour was a 9th place in the 8km Classic in West Yellowstone. Mannix bested her third place from last weekend's 10km freestyle in Bozeman. Neither of the women raced in yesterday's sprint. SuperTour leader Laura Valaas took her second third-place finish of the weekend, and maintained her lead in the overall standings.

A third APUNSC skier, Rossignol's Kate Arduser, finished fourth, giving the APU club places 2-4 and added to their already significant SuperTour team standings lead.

In the Men's 15km event, Russian Ivan Babikov (Factory Team) skied away from the field for a 30 second victory. SuperTour leader Garrott Kuzzy (CXC) took second and Leif Zimmermann (USST) was another 8 seconds back in third. Zimmermann was closely followed by David Chamberlain (MWSC) and Noah Hoffman (Sun Valley).

This was Babikov's first weekend racing the SuperTour. He followed his 8th place finish in Saturday's sprint with his 16th career SuperTour victory. Kuzzy sat out the sprint but appeared in strong form in the distance event, adding the second place to his two SuperTour victories this season.
