Ivan Babikov (Factory Team) won the 10km classic race at the Russian national Championships. Babikov, a newly minted Canadian citizen, won the two distance races at US Nationals in January. He left for Russia the day after winning the American Birkebeiner and raced 3 races in the next 4 days. He was 4th and 5th in 15km skate races.
