Rookie of the Year (women):
Liz Stephen (USA). This was Liz’s first season racing as a senior, which in our loose definition of the award, qualifies her as a rookie. The high point of her season came at the U23 Championships, where she took home the bronze in the 15km freestyle mass start. Liz also won two National titles, and won a race at the Canadian National Championships.
