U.S. Ski Team J1 Scandinavian Championship Team Information
As U.S. Nationals in Anchorage, A.K. approaches, the U.S. Ski Team is pleased to announce the coaching staff for the 2009 J1 Scandinavian Championships. Trip Dates: Jan 21 – Feb 2, 2009

Team Size: The J1 Team will consist of 6 J1 men and 6 J1 women.

Lodging: The team will be staying in Lillehammer, Norway until Jan 27th, after which point they will move to Folldal, Norway for the Championships.

Trip Ground Cost: 1750$ (does not include air, check must be presented to Justin at team naming and made out to USSA)

Airfare: Athletes named to the team at the banquet on Jan 7th in Anchorage will receive information on purchasing their plane ticket through the World Tek Travel. Athletes will receive the necessary dates and the agent’s phone number, and will need to purchase their ticket by Jan 9. The agent will coordinate athlete / coach arrival times to work for everyone. The team will use Oslo as their airport.

Jan 24 Svea (Warmup Races TBA)
Jan 30 Folldal, Sprint C (J1 Championships)
Jan 31 Foldal, 5/10 F (J1 Championships)
Feb 1 Folldal, 3.3/5 Relay (J1 Championships)

Informational Meeting: Trip coaches will hold a meeting for all qualified athletes and their parents immediately after coaches meeting on the 7th for the team sprint. An information packet will be distributed at this point.
