SuperTour Heads to the Midwest

The US SuperTour moves to the Midwest for the Midwest Grand Prix. The first stop is Mt. Itasca in Coleraine, Minnesota where both the men and women will race a pair of individual start 10k’s – a classic event on Saturday the 24th, and a freestyle on Sunday the 25th.

Important: The Jury for the CXC Mt Itasca SuperTour has decided that current trends and forecasts show a reasonable window of FIS legal temperatures to hold the event at Mt Itasca in Coleraine, MN as planned. START TIMES FOR EACH DAY WILL BE SET BACK TO NOON. Start lists will be finalized and approved at the 5:00pm coaches meeting Friday at Mt Itasca.

The following week, racing moves to the Telemark Resort in Cable Wisconsin. The action begins on Wednesday the 28th with a freestyle sprint. After two days off, racing continues on Saturday the 31st – 5/10km individual start classic. The SuperTour will be combined with a Collegiate and Junior race.

The final event of the Grand Prix is a 10/15km mass start freestyle on Sunday, February 1st.
