Strandberg and Cook Win Telemark SuperTour

Cable, Wisconsin – Kristina Strandberg (Saab Salomon Factory Team) and Bryan Cook (CXC Elite) won the 5/10km classic SuperTour at the Telemark Resort in Cable, Wisconsin.

Strandberg skied to a 6 second victory over Lindsey Dehlin (USST). Strandberg added to her overall SuperTour lead with the victory. Katie Ronsee (APUNSC) finished 3rd, +:22. Ronsee beat out Johanna Winters by 3.4 seconds for the final podium spot.

In the men’s race, Cook put 14.2 seconds on the Saab Salomon Factory Team’s Lars Flora, while claiming the victory for local CXC. David Chamberlain (Fischer/Craft, MWSC) finished third, 5.3 seconds in back of Flora.

Overall SuperTour leader Leif Zimmerman (USST) was fourth, holding on to his top ranking.

The event was also a CCSA Collegiate race, and a Junior Olympic Qualifier. Over 350 racers participated.
