The Maine Winter Sports Center invites junior, senior and collegiate athletes to join our biathlon and Nordic teams for the 2009-2010 season. Our world-class facilities and coaching staff offer unparalleled training opportunities. Qualified athletes enjoy free coaching, assistance with equipment and uniforms, free waxing, travel support, housing, health insurance packages, physiological testing, tuition reduction programs at local universities, and training stipends.
Members of the MWSC Teams have competed at Junior Olympics, World Juniors, NCAAs, FIS World Cups, IBU World Cups, FIS World Championships, IBU World Championships and the Olympic Winter Games. Applicants must be willing to reside in the state of Maine and perform community service aimed at promoting healthy, outdoor recreation within the state.
