This clinic will help you gain insight into effective training, racing and speed building strategies. This summer the USST heads into its final push for the 2010 Olympic Games. Get first hand knowledge of what it takes to ski at this level, and how you can incorporate specific elements to help you perform better to meet your personal goals.
This clinic will take place August 14-16th. Additional high-level instructors will be added if the number of participants allows… Andy has graciously agreed to help out with this clinic and we’re hoping that our payment can help him reach his goal of an Olympic medal. The more sign-ups we get, the more we’ll be able to pay Andy and our other high-level presenters!
Join us at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, home of the newly launched Elite Green Racing Team.
Participants will get the run down on classic and skate technique both in theory and on roller skis. Basic physiology will be discussed along with how to incorporate the myriad of training levels and workouts into a meaningful plan. Participants will be treated to an indoor round-table discussion where your questions get asked and answered in a collaborative setting. There will also be an autograph session, and a raffle for a personal roller ski lesson with Andy.
In addition to providing participants with a view from the top echelons of Nordic skiing, this clinic will also satisfy the requirements for the NENSA Level 1 Coaches Education Certification, and many of the requirements of the USSA L100 certification. Cost: Full weekend-$275.00 NENSA members, $305.00 Non Members. All inclusive, Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Includes lodging (shared rooms, bunk or doubles configuration), coaching, NENSA Coaches Ed materials, meals.
Day Price- $150.00 NENSA Members, $180 Non Members. Includes Friday afternoon session through Sunday sessions; coaching, NENSA Coaches Ed Materials. No lodging, Lunch only- Sat /Sun.
