The Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver will be the highlight of the 2009/10 season. One of the most important goals for the IOC and the International Winter Sports Federations are fair Games. In order to achieve this, the IOC has issued the IOC Anti-Doping Rules applicable for the XXI Olympic Winter Games held in Vancouver 2010. These rules are in accordance with the WADA Code 2009 and consist of the regular IOC anti-doping rules, supplemented by additional documents of the IOC, international standards and anti-doping rules of the relevant International Federations.

During the Games, the anti-doping rules, like competition rules, are sport rules governing the conditions under which sport is played. The IOC requires that “all participants (athletes and athlete support personnel) and other persons accept these rules as a condition of participation and are presumed to have agreed to comply with the rules.” To download the rules, click here.
