Run For Snow to Benefit Liebsch

All proceeds from the 2010 Run For Snow will go towards the Adopt an Athlete Program, started by the Central Cross Country Ski Association (a 501(c)3 not for profit corporation) to support opportunities for talented athletes to pursue athletic excellence in the Winter Olympic Games.

This year the Run for Snow will again raise funds to adopt Matt LiebschCXC Team Vertical Limit member, 2009 U.S. Natonal Championships Bronze medalist and winner of the 2009 American Birkebeiner 52K Skate race. Matt, father of two future skiers, will run with the kids in the Snowball Kids Trail Run and participate in one of the trail run events.

5.5K Walk/Nordic Walk and 5.5K, 9K, 14.5K Trail Run – This exciting event at Elver Park in Madison, Wisconsin will again be run primarily on wooded ski trail with a few sections of single track trail. The 5.5K trail features numerous climbs and the 9K and 14.5K feature some technical sections.
