NENSA Nordic Symposium

NENSA is hosting a Nordic Symposium September 17-19th, which will offer an opportunity for coaches, athletes, youth leaders and recreational skiers to attend presentations, network with peers, and share ideas throughout the weekend.  This event will highlight many of the topics that you have been asking for!  There will be presentations for all ages and levels of Nordic skiing, including the Fall EISA Meeting, and the annual NENSA Event Organizer seminar on Sunday afternoon.

For BKL coaches and leaders there will be presentations on strength training, incorporating game play into building skill sets, club development, and transitioning from BKL to J2 level. All level of coaches will be able to get the latest information on relevant topics like Compartment Syndrome and Athlete Eating Disorders. And, you will have a chance to hear presentations about Physiology, Technique, Canadian and US Athlete Development Models, and gain insight into how one regional program continually produces xc ski champions!

Presenters include former Canadian National Team Leader Dave Wood, former US Ski Team Coach and current Holderness Coach Pat Casey, NENSA Executive Director Patrick Cote, and Stratton Mountain School Coach Sverre Caldwell.
