Mt. Borah Introduces “Gear for a Year” Design Contest

Coon Valley, WI – Mt. Borah Custom Nordic has officially launched their “Gear for a Year” design contest. Each one of the winning teams, three categories in total, will receive the company’s highest quality custom Pro XC ski suits and custom Pro XC ski jackets for the 2011/2012 race season. The contest is open to College, High School and Junior Nordic ski clubs across the US and Canada. Teams can review contest details and submit their exclusive designs at www.mtborah.com/gearforayear , both graphic design templates and sketch templates are available for download along with the ever growing gallery of other team’s submitted designs.

Mt. Borah will review designs and choose the winning teams on October 3rd, 2011, making sure there is enough time to deliver the winning teams their unique custom kits before the season hits. “We are really excited about this contest, it’s set up on our web site to be fun and easy”, said John Dyste, Mt. Borah’s national sales manager. “This is a great opportunity for ski teams to continue working together during the off-season in a fun and creative way. It is amazing how creative skiers can be when told anything is possible, if you can imagine it Mt Borah can create it”.

In addition to launching the “Gear for a Year” contest, Mt. Borah will be introducing several new Nordic products, including a new line of OTW (Out To Win) apparel. These items will be made exclusively from recently sourced high performance Italian fabrics using the latest in garment construction techniques.
