FasterSkierAugust 10, 2011

Mansfield Nordic Club seeks to hire a head coach for its BKL, Junior and Masters programs. A successful candidate will be enthusiastic, charismatic and well organized with a strong knowledge of technique, training plans, games, drills and ski related activities. The MNC Head Coach wears many hats, including: directing paid and volunteer coaches; coaching skiers age 8 to 80, beginner to national champions; organizing weekly training; and web site management. He or she will have the benefit of working flexible part time hours, adjusting with the seasonal demands of MNC’s year-round activities.

MNC is centered in the towns of Underhill and Jericho, Vermont, in the shadow of Mt Mansfield, 30 minutes from Burlington, UVM and St Michaels College. We currently have over 200 Bill Koch League, junior, and masters skiers training June to March training at two locations: the Ethan Allen Biathlon Range in Jericho, a superb facility with 20k of groomed trails, lights for night skiing, race infrastucture and 5k paved roller ski loop; and at a beautiful farm in Underhill with groomed trails and a terrain park.
