The SISU Ski Fest is excited to announce a new partnership with Milje’s Ski Trails for the 5th annual SISU Ski Fest held on January 11th 2014. In a continuing effort to improve and grow the SISU Ski Fest, we will now offer three snowshoe races at Milje’s Ski Trails in Wakefield, MI.
“Adding these three new events, on top of our already impressive list of events, makes the SISU that much bigger and allows the SISU to involve more of the community, encompassing the whole Gogebic Range,” said Chris Whitburn, Media Consultant for the SISU Ski Fest.
Greg Miljevich, owner and operator of Milje’s Ski Trails, had this to say when asked about hosting these exciting new events: “Milje’s Ski Trails is proud to host the inaugural snowshoe race of the SISU Ski Fest. We are excited to showcase our unique and beautiful trail system and welcome everybody from the leisurely walkers to the serious snowshoe sprinters. The event includes a 2K, 5K and 10K timed races which will guarantee an exciting finish. We look forward to help promote a healthy lifestyle of outdoor silent sports in the beautiful Western Upper Peninsula.”
