Top nordic skiers from around the country converged on Park City, Utah in early October for the U.S. Ski Team (USST) and National Elite Group (NEG) altitude camps. While the NEG camp concluded Oct. 12, the USST is continuing to train in Utah until Frozen Thunder, a series of on-snow competitions in Canmore, Alberta that will take place later this month. Reports from Park City have been highly positive with the exception of few incidents including another broken elbow for the USST’s Sophie Caldwell and a sliced finger for SMST2’s Annie Hart .
