Mark your calendars for January 23rd-25th–The Noquemanon Ski Marathon is gearing up for its 17th year! Not even a polar vortex can stop us from making this year’s race bigger and better than ever.

We would like to announce our NEW title Sponsor, Upper Peninsula Chevy Dealers, with major sponsors Marquette General Hospital and mBank.  Thank you to our community businesses for your new and continued support.   This year’s Noquemanon will also feature a new lycra race bib, new course improvements and the elimination of the Saturday Snow Bike event.

Our Snow Bike Race will now be held on Sunday beginning at 10:00 am.  It will be a 20K snow bike event within the Noquemanon Trail Network Forestville system.  Snow Biking is still a growing and innovative sport in the United States and as the Noquemanon grows we would like to support this sport during the Wild Side of the Noque on Sunday.  Snow Bike and Skijor races on Sunday will start at the Plum Creek 510 Trailhead and finish at the NTN Forestville Trailhead.   The Sunday Snowshoe will start and finish at the NTN Forestville Trailhead.  Stay tuned about a NEW Snow bike race that will be on February 21, 2015, in Marquette, MI.
