FS Halloween Costume Photo Contest: Send Us Your Best!

With Halloween right around the corner, we thought it would be fun to launch a friendly photo contest, starting today (Thursday) and lasting through Sunday, Nov. 1.

Snap a photo of yourself (or a friend) in costume and enter for a chance to win, with prizes going to the winners of three categories. We’ll announce the winners on Monday, Nov. 2.

The categories are:

1. Best XC costume:

Since we’re about all things nordic, we’re guessing some of you will dress up in something XC-related. A simple spandex suit probably won’t make the cut, but a photo of you training in some crazy getup just might!

2. Best-dressed FS celebrity:

If you’re a current or former elite-level skier or coach (and your name has appeared in FasterSkier a time or two), then you’re game for this category.

3. Best-dressed average joe:

This is for the rest of us. No specifics here (just make sure it’s appropriate for young eyes). Creativity takes the cake!

Email photos with full name and mailing address to: info@fasterskier.com. In the subject line, write: “Costume contest”. Photos must be received by Sunday at noon EDT.
