St. Scholastica Seeks Nordic Skiing Head Coach

The College of St. Scholastica, an NCAA Division III institution located in Duluth, Minnesota, invites applications for the position of Nordic Skiing Head Coach.  This is a full-time, 12-month per year position.  The Head Coach is expected to oversee the planning, development and management of the Nordic Skiing program. The coach plays the pivotal leadership role within the program and must be successful in engaging a wide diversity of internal and external community members to advance the collective goals of the program within the larger framework of advancing the College’s Catholic Benedictine heritage, values, and strategic priority of becoming a more diverse and inclusive campus community.

Duties include, but are not limited to: recruitment and retention of student-athletes, coaching, monitoring of academic progress and personal development of our student-athletes, and administering the program’s budget while demonstrating prudent resource management.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, knowledge of the rules, techniques and culture of Nordic skiing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to travel.
