(Job posting)

The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking a Full-Time Nordic Ski Coach and Admissions Counselor. The ideal applicant would be capable of and committed to competing with the top ski programs in the US. The combination of strong coaching leadership, early snow, training at one of the top Nordic skiing venues in North America, and a community that is very supportive of skiing, have helped send several athletes in this young program to NCAA Championships. We are looking for a coach to build on that early success and turn that into a tradition. This dual-position will also work as an Admissions Counselor, who aids in the marketing of the University’s academic programs to students from area schools through presentations, personal visits, and interpersonal communication. Admissions commitments, including recruitment from the Nordic program, will be most extensive outside the competition season.
