The Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA), the east’s top-tier NCAA Division I Skiing conference, seeks a Media Intern to create and publish content to the EISA blog and social media feeds following each of the season’s Nordic Skiing races.

The Media Intern is required to attend all conference races, as well as captain’s meetings the evening prior to each race: There are two days of racing each weekend, spread over seven weeks. Races take place throughout New England in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and western Massachusetts.

Typical weekend schedule:

Friday: Men’s and Women’s Nordic Race (Classic, Sprint or Free)

Saturday: Men’s and Women’s Nordic Race (Classic, Sprint or Free)

The Media Intern is also expected to publish content following the NCAA Championships (held in Bozeman, MT), but will not be required to attend to those races.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a part-time position with a duration of 2.5 months.

The Media Intern will receive a stipend of $3,875 to cover wages, food, and lodging. (Lodging procurement will be the responsibility of the Media Intern.) Ski lift tickets will be provided for each day of racing.
