Playing outside during winter months has a positive effect on the health and development of the child and is a great joy for the whole family. You will be amazed at how quickly your children can jet down the slopes. But if they are still too small for skiing, sledding or romping around is a great alternative. But you all need to dress warm and in layers. Get waterproof hats and gloves for everyone and don’t forget to keep your feet warm. You won’t be enjoying much if you all get cold or wet.
Snow tubing
Snow tubing is a winter sport for fans of all ages. With a large inflatable donut, you slide down a slope or a track with curves. Snow tubing has become increasingly popular in recent years and the ski lifts for this discipline are now found in numerous ski resorts. Usually, the track is located near a ski lift, so you can start again from the top after the slide. In most cases, the slope is open even after the end of the skiing day, so it is, therefore, the perfect activity to end the skiing day properly.
Go on a mountain
Try to get family motivated to go for a hike. You will enjoy the change of environment; you will gain new experiences and maybe acquaintances. Staying in the fresh, mountain air will be a long-term investment in the health of the whole family. Winter idylls and snow-covered forests will by no means leave you indifferent. Take that journey to get even closer to family and strengthen your relationships. You will certainly gain new memories, so don’t forget to bring your camera and take pictures whenever possible. Any photos you take in those days will be valuable to you.
Go for a skiing adventure
It is important to keep an eye out for new challenges, like skiing. Cross-country skiing takes place in nature. All muscles are used in cross-country skiing, and endurance, coordination, and balance are trained. For a child, a snowy mountain is an enchanted environment, is something to be discovered and admired. Cross-country skiing allows you to have a direct relationship with the winter mountain environment.
Snowmobile
It is not recommended that a child under the age of 6 rides a snowmobile. Older children and adults should always wear a helmet; children under the age of 16 should not operate a snowmobile independently. But it can be a great family activity while you explore your surroundings and enjoy a beautiful landscape.
Try ice skating
Going for ice skating in the winter is something you should not miss. Not every kid will find themselves in this, nothing needs to be forced. But you never know, maybe your kid is a future hockey player or skater. Ice skating is certainly a great base for any subsequent sport because the motor skills that develop during skating and maintain balance are not negligible. Children should wear wrist guards to prevent injuries if they fall. It is advisable that they also have a helmet. Tighten the skates firmly to keep the leg stable.
Just play in the snow
Organize a snowball throw contest. Use food colors mixed with water to make a circle in the snow. Let the winner of the competition be the one who threw the most snowballs into that circle.
Shovel as much snow as you can to make a path, ultimately making a maze. Make different directions, some of which will be closed. Organize a competition where the goal will be to reach the finish line as soon as possible. Have fun and enjoy the cold weather together.
