Jakroo Custom Apparel is pleased to announce their partnership with Gold Medalist Kikkan Randall to create a new vision for Jakroo Nordic apparel. Kikkan will work directly with Jakroo product development team to bring innovative products to the table. Randall recently collaborated with Jakroo to provide valuable input for launching the women’s sizing and fit for the Arendal and Bergen warm ups. An expanded women’s collection is in development for next season with her direction. “How well my Nordic apparel fits and performs has always been really important to me and that’s why I’m excited to partner with Jakroo. With Jakroo’s technical design capabilities mixed with my experience as an elite international ski racer, we can refine designs and further develop the best custom Nordic apparel available. I love Jakroo’s customization options so that I can create the look that makes me feel as strong as my apparel performs,” said Kikkan Randall.
Kikkan will also be teaming with Jakroo to come up with programs to provide the best value for teams and clubs. She will look at ways to offer a variety of products while making it price effective to teams and parents.
“Over the last two seasons I’ve been training and racing in the Jakroo Nordic apparel and have been impressed with the technical design of the gear as well as the amazing customer service and team behind the brand at Jakroo. I’m excited for this partnership so that I can bring my experience ski racing at the top international level to help skiers and teams all over North America get the most out of their performance!” Randall said.
With the addition of Randall to the team, Jakroo continues to push innovation in custom apparel. She was a trail blazer for the US Cross Country Ski Team, being the first American woman to win a World Cup and medals at the Olympics and World Championships. She is a 3-time Overall World Cup Sprint Champion and an Olympic gold medalist. In addition to her athletic pursuits, she is passionately involved with Healthy Futures and Fast and Female, organizations that promote the benefits of healthy active lifestyles to youth. She represents the voices of athletes as a member of the International Olympic Committee. In June 2018, just three months after winning Olympic Gold, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been bringing her determination and positive attitude towards her cancer battle, hoping to inspire others along the way to stay active and persevere through any challenge!
