Great week end of Nordic skiing in Park City:
- Sat feb 15th 10:00am: round valley round up (5, 20, 40k). You will ski right by USSA Center Of Excellence
- Sun feb 16th 10:00am: silver ski tour (from White Pine Touring Center to newpark, 10k or 5 k starting at willow creek): noncompetitive, fun event for the entire family, with great community involvement
- Sun feb 16th 1:00pm: NEW UOP “king of the Mountain”. Unique in the world. Start at the Top of HS134, race down, all the way to the visitor center (stadium of Nordic Olympic trials), intermediate timing and then the fun begin with skiing back up. Finish at the top of HS134. Price money for best time down (must finish the race to be eligible) and the best time to the finish.
Expecting time: 10min down, 20 min up for good skiers. Advanced skiers. Stay tune for more details

Start elevation: 870m, finish elevation: 1270m
9km total: 5.8k relatively flat and 3.7k up for elevation gain of 425m
UOP “king of the mountain”:
Start and finish elevation: 2234m-7328ft (lower point: 1955m-6417ft)
Approx. 10k total: 5k down, 5k up for elevation gain 279m
