Tahoe Cross Country has a two-part position available for the 2009-10 season.
Part 1: Masters Clinician
Develop a pre-season and in-season training and technique program for racers and active skiers in the North Lake Tahoe area. A great opportunity to develop a new program in a great skiing community. Scheduling allows for weekend racing on the far west calendar. Salary based on program participation, clinician receives majority of registration fees. Examples of programs include Great Ski Race Training Series, Skate and Classic Improvement Series, etc. Plenty of room for new ideas and programs.
Part 2: High School/Middle School Coaching Assistant
Assist with the neighboring North Tahoe Middle and High School Nordic Teams, technique and fitness training for 50-60 team members from ages 11 to 18. Midweek afternoon practices, races on Fridays. Stipend available.
Positions may be split depending on experience and interest.
