This means that our physical location will remain closed until May 4th in order to keep our customers, employees, and our community safe. Tazzari Testing and Updates
We have had a blast working with the new Tazzari, programming our favorite structures, testing new variations, and refining our processes to make sure that you have the fastest skis possible no matter what the conditions are like.
One of the most unique attributes of our Tazzari RP23 is the ability to make changes in a structure over the length of the ski. By changing the depth and angle of a structure we are now able to control moisture buildup under the ski with extreme precision. This “Vario Tech” technology is brand new and specific to Tazzari, and is something we are excited to keep working with and testing.
Before grooming came to a stop this season we got a chance to get out on our test fleet and try out some of these new Vario structures and were very happy with what we found. Across the board in the wet and transformed conditions, skis that were prepped using Vario Tech had excellent top-end speed and especially great release underfoot.
–We are taking drop-offs for grinds during our normal business hours (by appointment) or by mail with turnaround traditionally being a few weeks during the offseason–
We also have been working with our brand new thermo box from Tazzari! Stay tuned for some brand new racing prep procedures as we continue to develop and test these methods.
