Yarmouth High School (Maine) seeks a head Nordic ski coach to continue its 30+ year legacy as one of Maine’s premier public school racing programs. The team perennially produces some of the top athletes in the Western Maine Class B Conference and the state, including recent Olympian, Sophia Laukli ‘18.
The ideal candidate for this position would have coaching experience, USSA-level racing experience, and a high level of energy and enthusiasm for coaching young athletes.
This is a seasonal part-time paid position that would be an excellent fit for someone also interested in a teaching career at the school, an early or late shift worker, or a remote worker looking to relocate to beautiful southern Maine. This region offers a stunning coastline, a short drive to the mountains, is a food and beer paradise, and is frequently recognized as one of the most livable areas in the U.S.
