Top Czech Republic skiers continue to tap Swedish resources. Two weeks after it was announced that Czech Republic's World Champion, Martin Koukal, would race for a Swedish club this year ( http://www.fasterskier.com/news.php?id=1364 ), comes word that the Czech's top woman will be getting Swedish help as well.
Swedish Skidsport.com reports that Katerina Neumanova will have a Swedish wax technician this winter. Ulf Olsson, a seasoned veteran wax technician with the Swedish national team will be responsible for her skis.
Neumanova made a great comeback last winter after being pregnant and having a baby the previous season. She might be even faster this season with Swedish help.
Olsson will most likely wax skis for both Neumanova and Martin Koukal.
 – We are going to get together in November and finalize the deal says Olsson. He admits that it’s tough to leave Anders Sodergren and the other skiers on the Swedish team, but good results from Neumanova and Koukal might make it easier to handle.
– They are two good skiers with potential to race well and it’s exciting to try working for another country, says Olsson.
He expects to sign a contract through this season with possibility for extension through the 2006 Olympic season.
