Ola Rawald, the coach behind the Swedish sprint success has takes a job with the Chinese ski federation.

The Swedish ski federation wanted to keep Ola Rawald, the Norwegian federation was very interested in him for their men’s head coach job, but Ola Rawald chooses to join Per Erik Ronnestrand and work with the Chinese team.
– I have worked with Swedish skiers for many years and am seeking new challenges. I felt that it was time to seek new stimuli. I think its going to be very exciting to work in China, says Rawald.
Rawald has worked with the Swedish federation for seven years. No replacement for the sprint and development coach is named yet.
