(ATR) The Austrian Ski Federation's disciplinary commission ruled that two biathletes, Wolfgang Perner and Wolfgang Rottmann, and coaches Emil Hoch and Walter Mayer were involved in blood doping at the 2006 Olympics in Turin. All four men have been banned from participating in any federation sanctioned events. The two biathletes were banned for life by the International Olympic Committee in April.
The four cross-country skiers, Martin Tauber, Juergen Pinter, Johannes Eder, and Roland Diethart have maintained their innocence since being banned for life by the IOC. The disciplinary commission found the four men innocent of any involvement with doping in Turin. They are currently appealing their Olympic bans.
