Fall is in the air at Silver Star; the trails have been mowed and are ready for the first snowfall. We actually had a dusting of snow at the summit on the long weekend.
The camps www.xccamps.ca are getting a lot of attention this year especially with the new pricing structure.
So far most people have chosen to stay at Snowbird Lodge the premier accommodation at Silver Star but did you know we have accommodation starting at $25.00 per night up to five Star Hotels and Vacation homes. All XC CAMP guests receive a 20% discount on their accommodation.
The food will be amazing at the Den so be sure to book the meal package as well.
The line up of coaches is sure to be a hit; with veterans like Sandy, Mike and Joe mixed in with current stars on the North American circuit. (Check the website for their bio’s)
The Silver Star (Black and Silver) ski sleeves came out beautiful and will be given away as souvenirs, I am working on a fleece top as well.
People are already making training groups for the World Masters at Sovereign Lake and Silver Star in 2011. Get your group together, book your camp and get a head start on the competition.
