Burke Academy signs on USST’s Liz Stephen and Coach Matt Whitcomb for the Christmas Camp.
Burke Alumnae, including the US Ski Team's Liz Stephen and Coach Matt Whitcomb, are signed on to help with Burke Nordic Team's first Christmas Camp.
Several recent BMA grads, and the former Head Coach are putting their shoulders to the wheel to help get Burke's first Nordic Christmas Camp on a roll. Liz Stephen from the US team will be home in Vermont getting ready for the trip to Anchorage and the Nationals and has eagerly offered her help with the December Camp which will include support for the Eastern Cup races at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. Matt Whitcomb, the USST Continental Cup Coach and former Head Coach with BMA will also attend. Matt and Liz will be joined by Burkies from, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. All are ready to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for their sport with New England J2's and J3's. Camp dates are 19 – 23 December and details are on www.burkemtnacademy.org.
Burke is also offering a chance for interested athletes to get to know the school and the team by spending a week to ten days with us over the winter.
