Vail Nordic Center Hiring Full and Part-Time Staff

OVERVIEW:        The Vail Nordic Center, located in beautiful Vail, Colorado, is hiring full and part-time positions for the winter 2013/14.  We have a full retail shop, rental shop, service center,   and daily lessons.    We service a local clientele with varying experience to people from all over the world.  We offer daily lessons in both classic and skate as well as specialty clinics throughout the season.  We are known for excellent customer service and for going above and beyond with our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Knowledge of both classic, skate, and light backcountry skiing

*Proficiency in all techniques a PLUS

*Prior retail experience preferred

*Prior Nordic teaching experience a PLUS

* Personable and friendly

*Comfortable working with the public

*Basic computer skills a must

*Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and wearing a lot of hats

*Nordic shop experience (waxing and mounting) a PLUS

COMPENSATION:  Dependent on prior experience
