    2. France – plain dark blue. lame.
    3. US – red white and blue could make a sick suit. red and silver?

The best suit in my mind is far and away the German cross country suit, not the biathalon suit, that’s the one with the “glut support.” And my pick for the worst suit is definitely the Canadian suit, it doesn’t resemble the Canadian flag at all, and it is just repulsive in every way.

    Best:
    Germany
US Biathlon (at least you could tell it was USA)

    Not so good:
Czech R. – looks like one is wearing knee socks
    Norway – black knee/elbow supports?
USA & Poland (all red) – trying to look like the Norwegians?
Sweden & Italy – looks good if you ALWAYS wear white underwear!

    Bad dream:
    Canada

What’s wrong with USA’s nordic suits? I love the silver chin and knee pads that they have, they look like futuristic football pants.
    Worst:
Canada-Hands down the worst unies on the circuit, just strait up ugly
Czech Republic–As boring as you can get
France- Black? they look like UA long johns

    Best:
    1) Australia (aka Canadian Biathlon).
    2) Czech (distinctive, reflects flag).
    3) Estonia (white front, blue back)

    Worst:
    1) Canada’s old suits.
    2) Canada’s new suits. Salmon skin fallen under the barbie, kitchen fire, industrial accident.
    3) No one else comes close.

At a distance, the German and Canadian suits are hard to distinguish. Up close, one is attractive and one is ugly.

Sweden and Italy get points for transparency, but do we really need to be able to read the labels on the waistband of your underwear? And on warm days, we can see that some of the Italian men don’t just have hair on their heads.

Justina’s Poland suit looks like she just cut two suits and sewed them together. France looks good up close, but is too subtle for television.

From outside the nordic world, I think the US freestyle skiers get honourable mention for their new pajamas.

I like the US and German once. I also very glad the Slovenian suit has changed the old one was painful to look at.

Worst suit has to be Canada. I actually liked the old one unlike many pepole but the new one is just ugly.

I really like the Czech suit but I wish it did not have that band around the leg. Sweden’s is also very nice and I actualy like the Polish suit although it took a bit of getting used too. But the US and French are my two favorites. The worst is Norway. I really liked their world cup suit but this one looks like it belongs in the 90s. Canada is pretty bad but I would love to see them on the podium.

jlane: If you missed the comments surrounding the Swedish Craft suit of a few weeks ago, they are worth revisiting. I ‘m glad that the Swedish men won the relay for a number of reasons, but as it turns out they didn’t need the suit to do it. I have to disagree with one of your points, though. I think it would be good for the sport if the Swedish ladies decided to mix up the colors of their underwear. You can bet the television coverage of our sport would improve then (think: women’s triathlon at the summer games).

    Best
    JAPAN
the Adidas suits (GERMANY) except for the support band bottoms
    SWEDEN + well chosen undies

    Worst
    CANADA.. if Ronald McDonald skied.
    FINLAND.. just bad

    Meh…Boring!
    NORWAY
    FRANCE
    USA
though the France suits have really nice details and lines it just fades to a navy blue slate on camera.

    Best:
    Germany without butt support
    and
The Austrian NoCo suit is hot, hot, hot!

    Worst:
Canada(although my friend loves it) and Poland

The USST suit is ill fitting and boring and the Sweden suit is cool but too many things can go wrong in white. Nerve wracking for the women!
