Renewed After World Champs, Dreissigacker Posts Career-Best 14th; Mäkäräinen Wins Khanty Sprint

Hannah Dreissigacker rebounded from 75-percent shooting at IBU World Championships to hit 90 percent of her targets on Friday and place 14th for a career best in the final IBU World Cup sprint of the season in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Also for the U.S., Susan Dunklee finished 26th, and Canada's Rosanna Crawford was close behind in 28th.

Domracheva Wins Mass Start Despite 4 Penalties With ‘Never Give Up’ Attitude; Crawford 20th

Darya Domracheva faced an 18-second deficit when she left the range for the last time in Saturday's mass start, but she made that up and more, winning her third competition of the season. Veronika Vitkova capped the "best week of my career" with a second-place finish; Canada's Rosanna Crawford was 20th and the United States' Susan Dunklee 27th.

Darya Domracheva was the big winner on Saturday in the IBU World Cup 10 k pursuit, but there were some personal victories Canadians Rosanna Crawford and Megan Heinicke achieved throughout the race as well. For one, Crawford clawed her way back into seventh after two early misses, and Heinicke went from 41st to 14th as one of two women to clean.
