Friday Rundown: West Yellowstone FIS Racing; Bozeman Canceled

The first official cross-country ski races of the season West Yellowstone Ski Festival, which has been known to attract 3,500 skiers and has been an early season tradition for more than 30 years. The four day event, which consists of two alpine and two nordic races, begins Wednesday and continues through Saturday. Gregg Makes It a Double at West Yellowstone SuperTour, Wins 10 k Skate

Watching her husband in the West Yellowstone SuperTour 15 k skate on Saturday, Caitlin Gregg (Madshus/Team Gregg) had a sense it was going to be another good day. Brian Gregg placed second and Caitlin went on to win the women's 10 k individual race by more than a minute and 20 seconds. “It's incredible,” she said. “It’s so fun when this stuff happens.”
